Crowe Norene provides independent financial advisory services to units of local government in matters relating to public finance. Crowe Norene History
On September 1, 1978, Ron Norene formed the firm of R.V. Norene & Associates independent municipal/public finance consultants and since that date has served as a financial advisor in bringing to market more than 1,000 issues totaling in excess of $5 billion. In June 2002, R.V. Norene & Associates affiliated with Crowe Chizek and Company LLC (Crowe Chizek). This affiliation of R.V. Norene & Associates and Crowe Chizek combined two leaders of independent financial advisory services in the Illinois and Indiana markets. Since joining forces, the two firms have collectively served as independent financial advisors on municipal bond and note transactions of more than $4 billion.

This transaction expanded both entities' resources devoted to public financial advisory services as well as the service offerings in the public sector. In addition to financial advisory services, Crowe Norene's clients now have access to consulting services in the areas of technology, enterprise rate setting, performance improvement, strategic planning, human capital and more.
